The name of the game is 'RAGING CRIMINALS' this name comes from the idea of out of control criminals who need to be put down and made sure they stay out of trouble. How will you stimulate audience desire to buy the game?

To make the audience to desire to buy the game it needs to have a good name that screams violence, terror for the target audience and needs to be advertised in a way that makes you want to buy the game eg: using bill boards which are big that makes it eye catching.

How will you create marketing materials that attract audience attention to the game?
Marketing materials such as advertising would attract the audiences attention because they would see it on television or online. The target audience who are teenagers tells me that they spend a lot of time on the internet. Therefore there should be advertising on the internet so that they would easily see it and want to buy it to see what it is like.

How will you generate audience interest?
The graphics play an important role in this because that is what will amaze the gamers and get them into it by appearance. On the other hand the story line and the main narrative needs to be very interesting to make sure that they do not get bored and are extremely into it instead exactly like they are the actual characters.

How will you promote audience action?
I will promote audience action by showing some game play to the gamers to show them what its like and how much action is involved.

Planet Side 2

 

Planet side two is a shooting game massively played person shooter. This video game belongs to the genre of adventure and shooting/fighting.Planet side 2 developer is Sony online entertainment. Planet Side 2 was announced for the PlayStation 4 video game console on June 5, 2013. Planet side 2 is a re made game of the first planet side itself.  It features in the same world and roughly in the same time period. It also features in territorial control and conflict. Being on foot or in large vehicles including flying vehicles. This helps to get around. The most important thing about this game are the battles. Battles between more than 2000 online players fighting against each other. The narrative of this game(story) is to fight in an epic war for ultimate control and territory domination.
There are six different player classes in this game which are;

• The Infiltrator is a sniper class with special abilities of cloaking and hacking, and can use sniper rifles, scout rifles and sub machine guns to deliver a devastating effect.

• The Light Assault class is a scout who uses carbines, sub machine guns and shotguns. The Light Assault's special ability is Jump Jets, which allow them to fly through the air for a short period of time.

• The Combat Medic is a healing class. Their weapons include assault rifles, shotguns and sub machine guns. The Combat Medic's special abilities allows them to heal and resurrect other players.

• The Engineer class has the special ability of repairing vehicles, turrets, and MAX Units. The engineer also has the ability to build anti-infantry and anti-vehicle turrets. The Engineer's weapons include carbines, shotguns sub machine guns and battle rifles.

• The Heavy Assault class has light machine guns, sub machine guns, shotguns, batte rifles, and also Rocket Launchers, which are effective at destroying enemy vehicles. They also have the special ability of shields to help them endure heavy fire.

• The MAX class has a mobile armoured suit that allows them to take significant damage before dying. However, due to the suit they are also the slowest class. They have access to anti-infantry, anti-vehicle, and anti-air weapons. Max units cost resources to use.

The font or picture explains what the words are, for example, the word elastic has been stretched because that's what happens with elastic stuff, they stretch! There is a meaning behind every word and something to describe it.

Grand theft auto 5

The picture above is the logo of the game I will be talking about. This is the packaging of the game, it gives you a basic idea of what it will be about.

The game was produced by Rockstar productions and the available platforms the game was made for will be PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

This game looks like it would attractive the young adult and teenage audience as its a type of action and make belief game with scenes of violence, blood ext  So I couldn't see a family playing it together.

The pictures on the cover of the game show just people with guns showing violence mostly with vehicles and a vicious dog.This gives a idea of what the games about, but does not show what its really about. This leaves people to look forward to buying this game to see what its really like.

For my fruit bowl task, I chose to use vibrant colours as it caught my attention first with the thoughts of bright colours. Also I thought that using vibrant colours could be best because there would be a better variety of colours to use on the fruit correctly. Finally great patterns with funky colours were the background just to make it stand out more and not look so bland.

Dirt 3

Dirt 3 would probably be the best game I've played so far, its graphics are amazing along with the way the game play is. Dirt 3 is a rally and off road racing game which challenges you to get the quickest time you can on different tracks, at the same time beat all of the other racers you would be competing.The platforms you would play this game on would be on two consoles only which are; xbox360 and play station 3. The price of this game in game shops are £35.00 or above depending on if the shop wants to make a profit, this fantastic game was released on may 24th  2011 and racing fanatics raced their way to finish all the copies.

• The publisher was a company called Codemasters and the developer was also Codemasters.

This brilliant and exuberant game was advertised on TV on many occasions, it also had a Facebook page along with a twitter page to send out cheats to help people with the stages, and to advertise cool things like free tracks! A you tube account was also made to show videos on how to do tricks and how to get to the highest level.

Codemasters dirt franchise monopolized the rally racing sub genre. Each game is more impressive than the last, and dirt 3 keeps up on what's becoming a tradition when it comes to anything off the track, however, its an intolerable mess. Bring a pair of some headphones and some patience, and dirt 3 is a killer sequel with much needed multi player enhancements...
